Advanced Practice Certificate Programs:
Certificates are offered through the newly launched Institute for the Advancement of Forensic Behavioral Science, Public Safety, and Justice.
*Select certificates will be accepted for transfer credit toward select three-unit courses in the MS in Forensic Behavior Science or MS in Forensic Administration and Leadership; up to two certificates can be transferred.
Each Advanced Practice Certificate offers nine units of credit. You’ll take three courses over three eight-week terms—all entirely online, and all taught by practicing professionals who are recognized as experts.

Administrative services credential
Designed with opportunities for field experiences, collaborative professional learning, and a coaching-based, theory-to-practice approach, our ASC includes research-based practices to align with requirements of the California Administrator Performance Assessment (CalAPA). Up to nine units may be applied to the EdD in Educational Leadership and Management.
PsyD in educational psychology
This program will deepen your knowledge of educational psychology while focusing on social justice, equity, and leadership. You’ll also expand your knowledge of human development, counseling, learning survey research, as well as program evaluation and design. Coursework includes leadership and supervision, psychopharmacology, and developmental psychopathology.
EdD in educational leadership and management
Become a leader in education with a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Management degree. Learn to use educational theory and principles for strategic planning, directing finances, addressing compliance issues, and managing evolving personnel and processes. The EdD program offers a specialization in TK-®12 leadership.
