Preliminary Multiple Subject Teaching Credential

This credential program is for those who feel a calling to shape future generations as elementary school teachers in general education. The Preliminary Education Specialist Teaching Credential Degree Program will prepare you to become a special education teacher in K-12 classrooms, as well as within other instructional settings geared for children and adults up to age 22. Elementary Teacher Certification
Preliminary Multiple-Subject Teaching Certificate Program Leading to an Alternative Teaching Certification in Elementary Education Recommendation
If you want to become an elementary school teacher in Arizona, this ASBE-approved program prepares you to teach grades 1–8 within the state of Arizona.

Secondary Teacher Certification
Preliminary Single-Subject Teaching Certificate Program Leading to an Alternative Teaching Certification in Secondary Education Recommendation
If you want to become a middle school or high school teacher in Arizona, this ASBE-approved program prepares you to become a teacher in any 6–12 grade classroom within the state of Arizona.

Master of Arts in Education (MAE) in Teaching
Students can concurrently earn their MAE in Teaching with only three additional courses. The coursework in these programs is offered online with extensive hands-on training. As part of the program, you’ll fulfill your teaching internship while paired up with a university mentor and a field supervisor, who will use their teaching experience along with individualized coaching sessions to guide you through assessments while you learn, teach, and earn an income.
